      Nice work, as usual Ron. Do you work much quartzite. From what i've seen that stuff must be hard to work with as it doesn't look like it would flake very evenly?? I seem to find a lot of that stuff down here.

        Hey Chuck, I have knapped very little quartzite. The local quartzite that i found was near impossible to knapp. This Tallahatta Quartzite is very easy to knap.

        Ron,very nice work.
        i had some of that material years back,and loved it.
        It's not fair to call it quartzite, because it doesn't work like quartzite.
        But it does make for some beautiful looking points and blades

          Did you slab up a piece of that Tallahata? Just wondering, i'd love to see what that stone looks like raw? Is it in nodules or chunks? Very nice work!

            Thanks Josh, i just slabbed a good solid piece. I think it was a thick flat layer.
