  • 4.25" Keokuk "Dalton" blade

I have been without my best knapping tools for some time now because I accidentally left them back at my fathers house in Ky last time I visited. Needless to say I was having withdrawals from the lack of a good knapping session. Well I got to go back to the good ol bluegrass state this weekend, and was reunited with my tools. Thanks to my brother for unknowingly loaning me a good Keokuk spall while I was here 😈. This is probably some of my best work with spall thus far. I decided on Dalton because its a good way to get back into the swing of things and I had a bevel going so it just worked out. Thanks for looking!

Very well done Josh. That beauty looks closer to 6 inches long because it is so narrow.

Whoa now that's a stunner. It looks like it could be 9500 years old. Those basal thinning strikes and grinding are too good.

Love those serrations! Where's the steak that goes with it?
