    This is a drill I made out of some more of the fantastic Coastal plain chert, Allendale formation , Brier creek variant. It is a piece that was heat treated to perfection by the ancients, picked material up hunting points. This is similar to a lot of the drills I find and ones this delicate is hard to imagine them being used for drills, wonder if they were used as hair pins or fasteners for clothes.

    Hey Johnny, I like your work on that drill or fastener. I have thousands of ancient beads that were drilled and still wonder how they did all that drilling.
