had a little free time to do the things i like. so i decided to play with my rocks.

its been a while since i knaped so i figured i would put a couple of blades that i had previously made into handles.then i worked some broken bifaces and waste flakes, then on to some better rock.

the three points to the left were all broken bifaces, the other was a waster flake of some low grade flint ridge.

the dalton on the right was some lower grade spanish diggings(ive got higher grade, but didnt want to try it just yet).this one was made with all indirect percussion and just pressure to straighten the edge and do the base.

might try the higher grade spanish diggings tomorrow

damn it feels good to hit some rock again.

I am an expert at rust removal Tim.
I'm just not an expert at knocking rocks. :-)

Awesome - Awesome - Awesome Sneaky. I especially like those knives in the first pic. If this is what you turn out when you consider yourself rusty, I can't begin to imagine what you'll do once you're Smooth :-)

Nice work, really like the pattern that was left when you ground the tine of top handle.

thanks, there was a sharp ridge that went down below the brow tine.it kind of cut into the hand when holding it,so it had to be filed down
