  • Ishi-ish Point

    This morning I read the Dan (Olden) thread highlighting the ishi collection in the Hearst Museum. So I went out and attempted an Ishi point. Ishi used a lot of obsidian so I picked a piece of banded obsidian for today's point. I didn't get the base right but I will try again. Ishi was good at this.               I just read that story this year . Amazing how he kept hidden for over 40 years .
