New knives & Polished points

Tumbling those points is an interesting idea Johnny, is that something that you came up with on your own or have you seen it done before?
Those knifes are fantastic. Do you put the bolsters on because the cactus wood is hollow?

I am sure someone has polished reproductions before, but I have not seen it. The Cactus wood is hollow and it makes a neat addition to the wood.

The wood is called cholla wood, I had to go back to the pm from the person that sent it to me to see how to spell it

Johnny what did you use to get the black in those handles ? Wayne is looking at that.

The wood is all that color when you get it and I just sand the outside to bring new wood out.

This is what a piece of the handle looks like before you do anything to it. It is a cactus that had died and this is what is left.
