  • Maya Eccentric Replicas

After doing a field work season in Belize last year and getting to document a bunch of newly-excavated eccentrics, I got inspired to do some replicas when I got home. The material is Texas Root Beer, Peoria, pink chert from Southern Yucatan, and Colha Belize.

Right, the scorpion and centipede forms are quite common as cache goods. Often found in caches with forms of snakes, moon crescents, & sun disks

I’m ready to hear some stories. A field work season in Belize? Are you kidding me?

            Dream job, man...wow.
