    I made this Beaver Lake yesterday morning. I think it's cool that Benji found one a little while later. That's it, Clovis's for everyone!

    Wow!!! Great work. You are really making some nice points and progressing very well. You got the overall shape down just right. What kind of chert did you use? Looks like a Jasper chert of some kind.

      It was an old piece of Burlington chert I found in my junk box. I'm really getting into the Paleo mood as of late, and I need larger bifaces to make the Clovis's I want. I have made several large bifaces out of obsidian recently, but I'm a thinning freak, and I broke them trying for "one more flake"...

        Thats crazy ky point....yeah for sure.. go ahead and knap a clovis...maybe ill find one this weekend after you do.....nice work you got going on there....i need to watch some folks on you tube that are into knapping
