      Stunning! Does it work a lot like coastal plains chert? Do you use a turkey roaster ? What degrees? Ya watch a lot of videos ya got a lot of questions I guess. Most of the knappers I watched didn’t want to mess with coral. I guess they didn’t live on the west coast.

        I cook everything in an old built in oven I moved out to my shop, put coral or coastal plain chert in a roasting pan ( not covered with anything) and slowly bring up to temperature and soak for a while turn off oven and open oven next day now ready to work

      Hey Johnny, That's a good lookin blade. This piece of coral looks a lot like Novaculite.
