I frequent the site every now and then. I wouldn't have the first clue on how to do it though.

Well bud, lol, as the sayin goes “ ya can’t blame a guy for trying!” How about casts? Have you ever looked into them? Check out lithics casting lab, it’s fun even just browsing the site

started a topic Glass Dovetail trade

    Glass Dovetail trade

This is my first trade blanket topic, so if I do something wrong, please bear with me.

I am a beginner knapper, and I would really like to show my work to the world. Yes I am doing that right now, but would like to see if anybody would actually own my work.

I made this glass dovetail today (10/8/18) out of old TV glass. It measures just a hair short of three inches long, and is about an inch and three quarters wide at the base. It is 95% percussion flaked - only the notches are pressure flaked. It would make a perfect display piece.

It is basically uni-face. The one side has not been cleared. In truth, I forgot about it until I was almost done. There is also a pesky hinge flake near the base, but it isn't really noticeable overhead.

In return, I would like one of the following three choices: (Knapped, not real ones.)

    Clovis - 2 1/2 in. or longer
Dalton 2 1/2 in. or longer
Lost Lake 3 in. or longer

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If you would like to trade it, you can pm me.

    Thanks for looking!
