What else do you like to do?

Just curious, besides rock hunting/collecting, what other hobbies and interests do you have.
I love to read. I like science (especially forensic), history and a good mystery. I also love to sew and embroider. I do it all by hand and have made many blankets for friends and loved ones over the years.
When the weather is nice I like to garden and just be outside. We also grow and can as much of our own food as possible.
So what do you like to do besides hunt rocks?

A my favorite past time is gardening, which includes looking for points. The rest of my spare time is spent trying to get this 1952 8n Ford to crank and run !

  Road trips can be fun. Especially if there are a few beers in the cooler.  :whistle:

Butch, your garden is beautiful! And that tractor is totally cool. Hubby just sold a 1953 Oliver last year to a man who restores and shows them.

Golf, yep golf, one of my favorite pastimes. I'm not good at it, even quit for 3 years once, but love challenging myself with a stick and a little round ball!
Genealogy, but trying to find out about a family named Szybala, gets tough!
Reading, read all the time, a lot of history, but just about anything will do.
Occasionally even do a bit of woodworking that isn't job related.
Outside of that just do my best to generally aggravate folks or get them to smile but occasionally it's a fine line!

Nice Ford Butch. I have an old Minneapolis Moline R. My Father-In-Law collected antique tractors: He had over 70 When he passed on.

Rock Queen, you live in an absolutely gorgeous area! And it looks like you take great advantage of all the wonderful things around you. Good for you! You live a life many (including dear hubby and I) would envy!
