I grew up in the 80's and 90's (didn't say i was finished) and really miss those times. I am nostalgic, absolutely love old things even with patina or character or even whats left, they kind of take me back. I'D have to say the 80's were a better decade but was here in 90's so have plenty of memories from then. Pop culture, pictures and stories are all nice!
Remember where you used to live? That fishing trip? :dunno: That song? :dunno:
    Shoot.

BTW, not far from location in photo is first field i ever hunted around that age. We found nothing.

Yup, grew up in a trailer park. We were poor but I would not trade it for the world.

Vintage pictures: We always did a lot of fishing and hunting. I didn't have a store bought pole at the time but you can see my throw line tied to a sapling. 1952

We didn't have the dozens of store bought toys that kids have today but I had lots of fun doing things like rolling that burn barrel around the yard. Kick the can was another fun game. 1957

And yes I had too much hair for several years. 1973

Talk about hair LOL this is me around 73 full of piss and vinegar  :rolf:  :rolf:  That kid never got in any trouble!. As I reflect on this school photo my best guess is  I was thinking of how me and my buddy could cut out of school early so we could hitch hike to New Haven Collisium to see the Allman Brother Band.

Ron we played with canned goods. They would give them to us to roll around on the floor and stack up. One day I stashed a can of Tuna in the bottom oven Broiler and the baby sitter baked a cake that afternoon and Ba-Boom that can put tuna all over that house.
Jeff we all been there brother cool pictures to look back on
                              Nice fish guys
