For us Trekkers he was a legend. He lived long -and- prospered.

I grew up watching Star Trek when they first came out and in reruns. Every week day after school and then the movies." RIP SPOCK"!  Your the actor that changed me as what I thought was logical. And transcended into artifacts.

                if you think about it
modern day society owes a lot to the STAR TREK franchise and Gene Rodenberry
remember the communicators the used, modern day cell phones
remember the little electronic pad that the girls in the short dresses would carry and tell Capt. Kirk to sign
                ipads
now i cant wait for the phaser gun to be created, along with the transporter
oh ya,and who didnt want a tribble as a pet
                but tribbles are trouble

My absolute favorite episode was season 1 "Shore Leave"! I lmao!! It brought out Roddenberry's unique brand of humor that made each character so infinitely appealing.

Big fan here as well. I liked the follow up TV series better then the original. Picard by far my favorite captain. But Spock was always my favorite character in the entire franchise.  RIP Mr. Nimoy.
