When you consider that there were 851,499 kids under the age of 18 in BC last year 6000 is very few of them. Click image for larger version

Yeah, they been interbreeding since reintroduction, we call em coydogs. Every now and then I have to thin the coyote numbers around here so I've seen a decent amount up close. None of the ones I've taken were as big as the really large ones I've seen which is why I think the wolves have made their way into the hills around here.

I strongly, dislike those things. We have a ton of them around here. A pack of them is what killed my first cat.

It is made out of soapstone and located in Jackson county NC. Dates are unknown but thought to be between Middle Woodland and Mississippian periods. It is a very sacred spot for the Cherokee. Juduculla was their slant-eyed Master-Of-Game. No one has truly deciphered the petroglyph. Some say it contains his seven fingered hand print. He had control of the winds, rain, thunder, and lightning. He owned all of the game in the mountains, and it was only with his blessing that the Cherokee were allowed to hunt. The line through the middle according to the Cherokee was where his boundary was. No one was allowed to hunt east of the line. It was a site of Cherokee religious rituals up until forced removal. Even after removal some still made the trip from Oklahoma. There are 1,548 individual carvings on the rock. Some say it is a portal to the spirit world. There are a lot more strange and unusual beliefs about this rock. It has been a victim of vandalism and parts removed recently.
