        It was a mushroom. There were about ten in a small area. I stepped on one to see the consistency and it was soft but meaty. I'm not sure what kind it was so idk if it was good for eating or not. We have some really dangerous mushrooms in these parts and idk enough to identify the good ones. Guess I should get a field guide or something bc I'm constantly coming across mushrooms in the woods.

                His knife is a star factory. If you have a telescope the nebula is the best part of Orion.
