I like to pick up funny looking rocks. Please understand that these are all 100% natural rocks. I have shown these before but new members haven't seen them. Two of my favorites are the begging pup and the Omar (short for omarolluk). I found three omars and I use this one as a palm protector while making friction fires.

Thanks for the new post I have never seen these.
You know how we all see different things .
My first thought was a bird with its neck turned .
Now is see a baby dinosaur begging ..
P.S. remember when buffalo nickles we’re still in circulation and an Indian penny now and then..

Ok but do they Spin? Lol, sorry, lol. I can totally see the begging pup sitting pretty and looking up,lol. And a baby dinosaur if I look at it from a different perspective. That’s funny! Those are cool Omar’s too, I like the one in your grip and the last one

lol You totally get it. Jay the last four pictures are not omars but simply water worn.

If it doesn’t spin , is the one with the string a NA time piece like a pendulum ??
        I just know it ...

That one with the string is an ancient weather station. If it's swinging it's windy. If it's wet it's raining. If it's white it's snowing. If it's hot it's sunny.
