  • Fall in Carter County

The leaves are almost done turning over from green, to yellow, orange and red. It's getting noticeably colder, and the ground is frost covered in the morning. We are starting to see more deer everywhere we go, except for when we are hunting. Yes, it's fall here in Kentucky.

Those are a neighbors two horses. They are super friendly. The red horse, was a pain in the rear. He did not want to line up with the tree. Kentucky is filled with horses. This area has some horses, but has mostly cattle. Big cattle.

The 2 pics under the deer could be printed out for a frame .
I know your email policy but I may figure a way .
Yiu should make greeeting cards .
You know I take those leaves and press them and have put them in a frame . I have a ornamental plum that gives these blood red leaves I love . Has a butterfly that died in there to .

There is this spring on my property but it’s all muck around it . Don’t you think that would have been a hunting ground ?
I really want to dig it out for a bass lake . That a project but I bet there are some points down there ..

I don't see why not. Just because it's muddy today, doesn't mean it was in the past. I am not familiar with NA history in your area, but I would search it. I would search everything! If there is exposed dirt, or mud, or stream bed or a gravel bar, then I would search it.

Yeah all my finds are from a camp or out hunting where they were for deer . Then or cabin seems to be on an occupied spot . When we dug only 2 ft for the power lines yes this old lady had a shovel in her hand , that big turtle back scrapper was found .
some pottery , spalls . Then an archaic point . So it seems to be a multi generational camp we are now living on . It’s food , a stream so yes sir all the the makings .
