I had a big stump that I wanted to burn out. I chainsawed a deep cavity in the center and cut a narrow slot on one side to feed oxygen to the fire. It is still burning. The best part is that the stump burn doubled as a hotdog roast.

Hi Ron. I just stumbled across this thread--- a week late, it seems. Dang, I'm sitting here dumb, fat and happy and all of a sudden I'm yearning for one of those hot dogs. Guess I will have to wait till tomorrow. Your weenie roasts are almost as "purty" as your points and that is saying alot as your points are truly works of art.
