          I'm not going to say this professor with quite a background is wrong but how old is he? You know, eye site, dementia, etc.

            I think this is something that can happen at conferences, but, while there have been significant problems illustrated in the world of peer reviewed publications, in recent years, such as nonsensible papers being accepted (as part of a test to see if they could get published), I think it's safe to say this would never slip through the cracks there. And I have a hard time believing it was well received, but perhaps out of respect the audience was kind, don't know.

                It's amazing this paper was written and then pick up as a real news story. Next he will start seeing Bigfoot in the NASA photos.

                  I'm not sure if a paper resulted from his work. I'll have to see, but I would be surprised. It is a news story, in that it's news that these findings would be presented at a professional conference.
