  • Peach State Archeological show

The Central States Archaeological society, Georgia chapter has a youth division for awards at shows. Other states may have this and it is a neat way to get the younger folks interested in showing artifacts. This is a photo of my grandson with his plaque where he won an award for his pottery case. May have shown this before but it a way for others to be aware of this practice. Click image for larger version

I remember when I was giving him free artifacts scrapers and worked flint at a show once but didn't know he was your grandson. I bet he had fun with it. That's a nice award he received.

I have had the privilege of meeting this youngster in person. He is a nice kid and loves collecting. A chip off the old block for sure.

Can’t wait to meet him some day at a show . It’s so refreshing to see youth outside with a hobby . Takes a great leader to accomplish that these days .
                        Good job Grandpa
