For those who missed me, allow me to explain. I started a stone job late last fall and just finished up yesterday the 12th. I have been a professional Landscaper for well over 30 years. The last 15 years I have been doing Cobble stone paths, walks and patios. Stone work is very hard and tiering. At the end of the day I’m in pain and exhausted. I cook supper for Nathan and myself and just veg. out. This is my last bid Cobble stone job I’m doing. I love the work and make a lot of money doing it, but I’m getting too old. As I know I’m the only person in a large area that does this kind of work and I’m always in demand. I know I should have at least checked in with you all but I didn’t. Sorry if I caused any concern. Here are some Picts of the work I do. Kim

Thanks again Josie. My work is an art. I make stone mosaics. Everyone loves it. I only wish I would started doing this when I was younger, I could have started a good and very profitable business.

    Fine work indeed.
I did a ton of stone work around my house last summer...driveway, landscaping, patio, retaining wall, along the house. I can relate to that tired feeling.
I do have one question...what do you put below and between the cobble stone?
    Congrats on retirement!

So Flint I use What's called Screenings, It's also known as grit and cracker dust. You can get it at any stone quarry for a few dollars a ton. Just sweep it in and water it down. the water will carry it down in between the rocks. You may have to repeat this again in a few years. After that your good to go for years without repeating.
