BTW...This bird is a Heron called a Black Bittern
If ya google "Singapore Fishing Bird" there are at least two other videos of this species doing the same thing.  Very Cool@@!!!

  I really enjoy observing the intellegence of the critters we share the planet with, and I'm not surprised anymore when I see it in action.
