Great Nascar Championship Race

Hope you guys saw Jimmy Johnson win his seventh championship. The final race was exciting to watch.

That's something I've never been able to get into but know some diehard fans.

im sorry Ron but i do not put Jimmy in the same category as Richard petty and Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Jimmy never won a championship before the whole chase format came about
once they started the chase format and the 10 race chase then he started to win
not hard to figure out why if youve watched his career in NASCAR

through out his career Jimmy always did best in the last third of the season
the chase format was all on tracks he always dominated,so no wonder he would win championships with the new format.


now onto tonights race.
i was rooting for Carl Edwards to win the championship
but that dirty move by Joey Lagono at that late race restart ended that
Carl did have the best car all day long of the four drivers in the chase and should have won the championship if not also the race
but thats auto racing for you

Hey Tim, Carl Edwards did run a great race. I was especially proud of Carl for how he handled the loss. It takes a real man to respond in a positive way after such a disappointing finish. Hey on the up side a CHEVY won.

It was a fun race to watch. Jimmie started 40th and came in first.
