            yes but you would have to dig shelters. Back in the fifites it was different. People were much friendlier and more apt to allow someone to poke around their property. The last 60 years have changed the tri state area very much. You can still find friendly out in the rural areas but those areas have shrunk by leaps and bounds.

Oh by the way I ran into a nice young gentleman down the river Wednesday...had my ice point in my pocket ...in little plastic case.. he said he saw it on the forum ...come up behind me and I hear "are you Red. ?.. I'm like yeah he says I seen your posts on the forum . I'm like what's ur name on the forum? He don't post...name is Kieran. He knows you. I mean who don't know you? Haha .. Dorso is synonymous with artifacts in Connecticut.....seems like a nice young fellow

            I do know Kieran . Yes he is a great guy. I met him at a lecture in Milford maybe around 2010.
