Yeah, it is a billionaire's game, but man, did they ever transform this often very dull event into one spectacular spectator sport. NASCAR on the water at 50+ miles per hour. And one incredible comeback! 162 years, and this event will never be the same. And Roger, I'm sure because the tactician was a Brit, it made all the difference Joking aside, he was the difference! Actually, only one American crew member, and I'm proud to say he was from Rhode Island. Seaside Newport will always be one of the sailing capitals of the world, but San Fran was a spectacular venue. People flew in from all over the US to see yesterday's winner take all.
