        That is a beautiful moth. I think it might be a type of giant silk moth from the Family saturniidae. My first obsession as a kid was insects. Thanks for showing!

          Not exactly sure on species but I would google cecropia moth. a type of giant silk moth?

          I think you are right on with cecropia, I was looking for it on the net last night. It's hard to tell in pics but it was the size of my hand. It certainly held my attention for awhile.
