Hey cgode - that's some terrific scenery you have in those mountains. I can see your daughter on the water and in front of the campfire. What was the temp while you were there? Those water pics look kinda cool to me. Maybe it's the clouds. Love the back country.

Thanks Scorpion.....It's my favorite place and my daughters as well. Day time temps were in the 70's with night time in the 50's....perfect sleeping weather!....The water wasn't too bad for temp...swimming was refreshing but I wouldn't want to stay in the water for too long....lol

Cool pics of camping in the north woods, looks like a good time!
if you crop your photos they should appear oriented the right way in your post.

Thanks Brother...it's a great trip and loads of fun....we spend a week each time and are completely exhausted by the time we leave....lots of kayaking/fishing/hiking.
Thanks for the cropping advice.....I'm computer illiterate so that may take me a few years to figure out...hahahaha

Hey Everette! Hope all is well with you my friend!......This is daddy/daughter trip annually....I'm absolutely thrilled my now 17 year old daughter still insists we go.....no cell service up there so there are no distractions whatsoever! it's a cool place!

Very beautiful country Chris, we have to go way north to find that. Looks like you two have a great time together and what a bonding experience. May you have many more together.

Oh man, I always wanted to head north to see scenery like that again. Makes me want to pack the Jeep & hit the road! Very nice pics! Enjoy those family moments while you can.

This looks like a very enjoyable vacation but you had better be careful.

thanks for fixing the pics Bruce! Ill have to figure out how it's done soon.
The trail with the US/Canada markers was cool...we parked at customs and clarified the requirements...the customs agent said "don't get off the trail"! I can only imagine they must have some ability to monitor hikers...if not...it's just seems too easy to cross unseen...which doesn't give me the warm fuzzies!
