    Maple Tree hole has housed birds and squirrel's and now a mushroom or fungus. A Cicada in the process of shedding it's skin.

                      Hey josh those are those Acadia bugs right .. everywhere 17 years they come out . Sub -species 7 .
                      Well I heard these for the first time in my life in Georgia ... so get this story . I am in Georgia in spring and nothing . I count 21 different bird species . When I went back there 2 weeks ago not many birds . I go out and buy bird seed bells etc . Still no birds . So I am goggling these bugs and find out they throw off birds hearing for their natural daily life . Just even listening for a insect to eat
                      is hard for them . They were flying hard and fast all over . I found that a fun fact .
                      yes the first pic is frame worthy .

                        I haven't heard of them called that but we called them locust, but when i look up locust i see what i call a grasshopper, ha. Thanks

                          Yeah I saw a special on TV years ago that's how I even knew what they were till I said something one night because they are deafening .
                          I guess they only come out every 17 years .
                          goggle for interest . They were leaving those shells all over the place. . Like a snake shead .

                              I love your thread on yard life . When we went hunting I found three different types of very unusual mushroom but didn’t have my phone . Red , yellow all growing up a tree .
                              thought of this .
