Can you grab me a couple of those? I’ve been looking for a pair for my pond. 😇

They are on our golf course out here . The man that first developed this area had such a vision in the plants he put in to the birds. He brought them in from Australia . They use to break up the nest and you should have seen me yelling at someone that only speaks Chinese . Now they have been letting them breed . I’ll keep you posted on their growth . They are just a week old . Little fuzz balls last week .

One of my dad’s best childhood friends grew up to be a wealthy business man and he had a pair of them on his pond. Whenever I see one now I think of him and fishing his pond...They were the most beautiful, graceful birds I’ve ever seen or been bitten and flogged by, and that includes a LOT of birds.
Fun crossword puzzle/trivial pursuit tidbit: Baby swans are called signets....And they are indeed beautiful.🤔

They are indeed, and extremely territorial. Man can they bite! If provoked they could kill a small child.

Their is also a blue heron that you can throw bread to
and it takes it to the pond to fish for the fish .
lets see if I can get a pic of that . I saw it on the Discovery channel .Sure enough this one has figured this out as well .
                  its pretty darn amazing .
