    Was sitting in the kitchen yesterday afternoon. In the trees above the pond i noticed this.

    They've made a wonderful comeback since DDT was banned. Now there's talk of using it again for mosquito control.

        Ron, we have stocked the pond for years. I am attaching a pic of a brown trout my son caught last week out of that pond. Its now froze over again.

        Nice brown trout for the dirt walker
        just gatta ask did he grow any or is that just one big fish. ..hehe

            Chad you know I am in envy over your yard . That is one beautiful bird . I always tell you your kids are living the dream . I have a very large dead tree we have left at the end of the driveway for the predator birds . I can get up every morning and see up to 17 of our local scavengers.
            But then there is the one beautiful red tail hawk .
            Caught him in a trail cam in action after a squirrel.
            Nature is the best entertainment.

              He has grown immensely since you last saw him... its also a very nice fish.

                Nice brown trout . Great pictures too. I do not envy you No more snow for me please and it only snowed a couple time here but hey thats enough for me . LOL
