Hey Charlie, saw the news flash & folks all the way down into GA may have felt that trembler. Will be interesting to see if this was a solo event or s pre-shock.

Ha Ha! I wish I felt it. I heard many stories today of how it shook all the snow and ice off the trees and buildings all at once.

The earthquake struck eastern Tennessee before dawn Wednesday. As mild as it was, its effects were felt from eastern Kentucky all the way to Atlanta.

I did not feel it Charl several years ago I felt one that centered under the Douglas Lake Dam over in Sevier county. I was not up at 4 am that was 100 miles south of me. Maybe 80 miles for Josh. East TN is a seismic area.

I didn't know Tennessee was an earthquake prone state. I remember a small quake once in West Virginia. My mom yelled across the hall to stop running because we were shaking the house! Ha ha! We were watching TV!
