In case you guys were wondering, I did go out point hunting this year. First, to a large creek, and next an old field. I didn't find anything artifact wise, but I found a really nice 1700's cabin. I will try and get pictures up soon. I forgot my camera that day."The education of a man is never completed until he dies." Robert E. Lee

I like wildlife , thanks for the pics ! I’m not to big on picking up snakes, I’m weird that way. I’d metal detect around that cabin !

My dad and I have found who owns it, and we are currently trying to get permission. It was one of the first built in our county!
I am not sure why folks don't like snakes. They are surprisingly soft, and if you are dealing with a corn snake, they are down right fun to handle!

Hey Ethan, I love the pictures. We have Pine Snakes that grow to six feet and they are easy to handle.Michigan Yooper

Corn snakes and Milk snakes are my personal favorites. I have been handling them since I was five. I like the massive, cranky black snakes because they give me a challenge. I have only caught a Racer once, and the little snakes such as Ringneck snakes, Worm snakes and Queen snakes are super easy. Garter snakes always put up a fight, but I like them too.

I was out about half an hour ago, when I saw that our garden hose was tangled up in the front yard. I thought it was bizarre because our hose is at the back of the house. It was a breeding pair of six foot black racers. They shot off before I could get my camera. :-("The education of a man is never completed until he dies." Robert E. Lee

Can’t upload the pic but my sister in- law found a beautiful
copperhead curled up ready to go on her front door mat . That would have been history if the dog ran out . She grew up in Alaska so knew what to do .
