  • Nice walk in central utah

I Went out looking for a few points today I didn't find any but it was a good hike with some good views. Plus I got a good picture of my dog birdie. That's harder than finding any arrowheads cause she never sits still.

Recommendations for a week of vacation/hiking in Utah?
maybe something less travelled/less crowded than the usual favorites?
Wandering wherever I can, mostly in Eastern Arkansas, always looking down.

Kolob mountain/reservoir has always been one of my favorites since I was a kid. You won't see any tourist or crowds there but it's a little ways out of you don't mind camping the closest town is cedar i believe. also there is gooseberry campground here by salina,it's right off I-70 with lots of hiking and scenery and plenty of hard to get to good fishing holes. I could name quite a few more but I'll leave it at that for now and you can p.m me if you want to look into a few more spots. Oh yeah all those pictures are right at the base of gooseberry before you get into the higher elevations.

There's also the paiute trail if your into riding you can make a loop through most of utah if you want. My dad and I used to go twice a year and just ride and find heads for a week it was a lot of fun

Sounds awesome! I think I’m going to bring the bikes and do some peddling.

          Thanks for the info!

Did you snag that bottle? Looks like an old medicine/morphine bottle?
