Very beneficial Black Snake. They like to curl up around your arm...but have a bit of a smell to them. A good snake to have around the barn and out buildings.

Very true Charles one year I got rid of a big black snake due to my dogs. Next year I had a mouse invasion. I'm thinking he was eating the mice that I didn't know I had

I've heard they will get 10 feet but this one was about 6 feet maybe 7
