    Been another slow year for me in my other favorite pastime. Seems like the weather has not been on my side. Huge amounts of snow late change the wapiti living arrangements. That and horn poachers. Still a few around but the white crap makes them real hard to find... here is an insitu of one and after i flipped it. 4 more inches and a winter weather advisory for tonight... 🛷 middle of Montana.

    Oh, i rototilled the garden and got a few finds a will post later...

      Our area is limited draw for bull tags. That allows them a better chance at maturity. Ive found a few sheds that push 14 pounds each, so pretty good.

          Sorry for the late response. I used to collect them just like artifacts, but my wife had a bout with the big C a couple of years ago and the horns became cash to pay for her treatment. Since then, i dont keep them anymore. Sell them each year. Pretty good money, and a reason why they get stolen so much...
