Bald Eagle Fledgling

Hi all, Earlier in the year I posted about a Bald Eagle nest on the hill across from my house. Well here is one of our babies. Driving about a 1/4 mile from my house yesterday this youngin was as you can see on the side of the road, and only a few yards from his nest. I passed him ( or her ) got out and walked towards it taking pictures. My Lord what a beautiful site, and for me to get so close. It is a thrill of a lifetime for me. Needless to say I chased it off the road and into the meadow and to safety. I hope you enjoy these picts. as much as I do. Kim
