ID:	591990 Not something you see a lot of around the South Carolina Piedmont. This was from years ago at the edge of my favorite hunting spot. Saw tracks this year but no bear. I always look and try to be aware. My neighbors had a bear raiding their bird feeder this year.

Narrow Way’s comment made me think about this guy. Might be a gal, I don’t know.

Oh gosh, you’re right! That’s my honey hole. Slender Man might have met his match. That’s MY spot, lol.

Lol! Now I’ll really be looking 👀! It’s eerily quiet here this year. No coyotes howling. Maybe Bigfoot is running them off. You’re so funny!

        Ron!

Know BeatUp knaps observing pasture fulla Bovids sometimes, but this takes the cake (millet?)!

I have an apple orchard and the ground cover is clover and birds-foot trefoil with mixed grasses.

I can't see an upright bear without thinking of Pedals. He walked around New Jersey for 3 yrs. before being killed by a poachers arrow in 2016.

Many folks were not happy with his demise..

Are those all yours? My uncle had a trophy room. I was terrified of a bobcat he had mounted, stuffed or whatever it’s called.

That's a pretty good size bear Josie. I've never seen one in these parts, but have had clients tell me that their trash cans were torn apart by them. After watching videos of black bears climbing trees, I was amazed.

Jo! …..gives me idea! Let’s go look, make friends, train, take show on the road. We could be known (and famous) as The Ursidaettes!

Bears are just cool creatures. I haven't seen any live here in South Florida, but I've seen bear prints on the wetland hiking trails behind our house outside of Ft Lauderdale.
