Mouse Hunting Hawk

Though possible a Shrew caught. There has been a racket around neighbors trees all day then the birds got closer. Robin's and starlings dont like the hawk around and a blackbird just ran it off.

Cool pics Josh. I have both a Cooper’s hawk and a Sharp-shinned hawk that will take song birds from my yard now and then. Those raptors are beautiful birds.

Have a couple on my land and I have a very small dog and the hawks worry me. I do like to watch the crows chase the hawk and then the mockingbirds chase the crows. It’s an air show sometimes.

Owls have to eat, too. You have to zoom in on this but it is an owl catching a dove in flight about 20 yards from my back door.

Eagle took down a fawn and buzzards waiting for scraps. Hawk took out a egret for lunch. Lot of wildlife at my last job. Had to deal with snakes, gators and softshell turtles a lot.
