About 20 years ago or more my wife needed decoration for some potted plants and to keep the cats from digging in the big ones. So me having about a bathtub worth of large and small chert debitage, I volunteered a few 5 gallon buckets for her needs.
Then last month, I was cleaning out a few big pots being careful not to cut my hand on the broken tool stone, this little pooter fell out of a pot right in front of me.
The funny thing is that I remember finding it on a shell midden in the 80's and never know what I did with it. Well now I know. It ended up in the debitage bucket and made it to a potted plant where it found me again.
