    Many Thanks for these beautiful gifts Hoss!!! Hoss gave me 8 awesome handle blanks. This is going to be fun. I just sanded the saw marks off of one face so you can see the beautiful woods: 2 Bocote, 2 Goncalo Alves, and 4 Thuya Burl. These will give my knife handles the WOW factor.

          You're right Chris: Cut resistant gloves and safety glasses are a must when I knap this beautiful Obsidian.

                Wow. This is not something I’ve thought about.

                Half my floors stone, other half wood. I have great appreciation for both. And I do have old metal knife my grandpa made with wooden handle. I will look at it differently.
