    BoilerMike, it’s in Volume 32, Number 3, July 2017, page 8; it has a Mammoth (artwork) on the cover. There is an article also about the origin of Dogs.

      Great find and good read - there are a couple distinguishing characteristics I hadn’t seen before, and I also like how the team sorted those characteristics into those supported by their empirical experiments and those that didn’t hold up. Seeing the summary of that entire process was enlightening, and reinforces my impression that there’s a ton of material out there which is hard for even experts to determine were modified by people. It seems to take examination of large samples and control groups to statistically tease out a couple characteristics separating them. Also interesting they came up with evidence, but didn’t feel like it was strong enough to be conclusive.
