  • Crescent Graver?

This graver is from Wilson County in Texas. I have two more of similar size and shape.  The artifact is bifacial and measures 3 3/16 X 1 1/4 X 5/8 inch (quite thick). My question is; Would you call this a Crescent?

I think what you have is a knife . I can see what looks like small notches on the base . Its not a crescent imop .

Thanks Dennis, I took a couple more pictures. I should have done this to begin with. The two added pictures are of the convex edge and the base. I think the artifact was hand-held and not hafted.

That's real thick maybe unfinished . I wonder if they find crescents in Texas ? I know the great basin and parts of California have that type of artifact . I have a couple from NW Nevada  and seen a couple from NE California .

I am pretty sure Crescents are found in texas, but is that one? That is hard to say, It could be a random fluke. As in the intenttion was a knife and the stone they used wasnt fit for anything else due to its shape.
