  • What's the point?

I found this birdy a few months back. Some data I saw suggests
Early Ceramic Period...Any info on type would be much appreciated.

          cant help with the ID
but the lithic material is incredible
would like to get my hands on that stuff
it amazes me all the different types of material the ancients used, that most of us modern knappers never get to try
ive had rock from all over the country, but i see so many different types on here that i never even see the rock dealers at knapp ins selling

Beautiful point. I know little about typology from your region so I am throwing this out for arguments sake.  It looks very similar to the Deadman's Point of SE New Mexico and Texas which is associated with the Mogollan culture.
