Joe, I would have to say that the possibility is emminent that they are. The bases look very similar and even the notching is the same. I guess you would have to look at the flaking patterns as well, whcih I cannot tell.
  Not all the way confident yet with the used up pieces as I am with other areas of the points. But my vote would be yes, they are the same type.-Bill

I do not think so.  Side notch, corner notched, bases dissimilar

I think that they are both Kirk Corner Notched, but in different stages of resharpening. The left one is almost exhausted.

That's exactly what I think, Cliff, Bill.
Right down to the name, Kirk Corner-Notched.
A lot of folks might call the one on the right a Pine Tree or
Lost Lake. Found in NC, it's a Kirk.
The straighter bottom on the one on the left may place it a little
older, but it's not ground enough to call it a Palmer.
I'd say there are more similarities with the bases than differences
and these guys were contemporaries.

The one on the left looks like a sidenotch but add the ears its a cornernotch. 
reverse the sharping process and ya can see it.

Left one well used point can't argue the Kirk Pt. type?? Both good finds. Joe.
