Is anyone good at dating handaxes??

I found this handaxe over the weekend in Mineral County, Nevada. Any info on dating it would be helpful. Thank you!

My ex is a battleaxe and I used to date her. LOL Sorry I had to write that. Hand held axes are called choppers. I am not sure if that is what you have there. It may just be a large trade blank. Unfortunatly artifacts like this were made during all time periods so the only way to date it would be by associating it with other items found on the site in a controlled dig. Even then it is problematic. It could have been dropped by a differnt group Floods may have moved the soils over time there are many factors to consider.
