  • Probable best find

This is likely my best find, in a bulldozers tracks, lucky me. It would have been broke, found, or covered up within 24hrs of me picking it up. What do you type it? NW Arkansas. It is long for it's width. What would you offer for it? I think it is a cupp or collier point. Do you like it!?

Cupp seems to fit It well. Were not supposed to talk about prices Here but It wouldn't be a cheap Point.

Look at the Neosho type. Probably related to Cupp.

Looks like a Cupp but could be several others. What is the material? It looks like alibates but I have seen a novaculite that was similar.

I think it is heat treated burlington.

Sorry, but you won’t get any offers on this forum. If your intent is to sell it, there are legitimate buyers who advertise elsewhere on the site. This forum for for sharing finds, information and education. Stick around if you are interested in NA artifacts.

Cupp seems right. Looks like Frisco Chert.

Its most likely Alibates that traveled east. It could also be variegated burlington. Really nice save!

It sure favors alibates.. I mentioned that earlier.

them. Can't believe that one lasted so long.
