Pottery id?

I found this pottery sherd back in the 1979 not far from Dickson Mounds State Museum in Illinois. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not familiar with pottery from your area nor the Dickson Mounds so I googled Dickson Mounds to find out more information. The decoration and shell tempering look to me like it would fit the later end of the occupation estimate for them. That’s just a guess though. It is a nice piece.
