  • Chocolate Celt!!

I found this one on 4-20 in Levy county FL, Im thinking it may be my first celt find! Any other ideas about what it is? I also found this piece of dilled bone, the back side of it is rounded out and looks smoothed like it was attached to something, any ideas?

That second piece is very unusual. Tom would probably have some ideas. Take soem more pictures of that one it is very interesting.
I think they were thinning a preform and could not get it down sufficient to make a point. In my honest opinion if it were a celt the business edge would be straighter than that. It is a very cool looking lithic. That might be Coastal Plain Chert.

The other piece is fossil bone, small section of jawbone with teeth holes.  I'm not too familiar with all the jaws, pleistocene. :cheer:
