  • One Amazing Dinosaur

    Wow...

The dinosaur is so well preserved that it “might have been walking around a couple of weeks ago,” Vinther says. “I’ve never seen anything like this.”

The 110 million-year-old fossil of a nodosaur preserves the animal’s armor, skin, and what may have been its final meal.

Read about that yesterday. Can you imagine having that fossil laying around the house? Amazing how well preserved.

Spectacular preservation brings that find almost to life.

Like that is the biggest Horn Toad I ever saw!!

The curator only allowed the best preservationist to work on it. Wanted to work it out of the matrix with as little damage as possible.
They have some more work to go but essentially it was ready for release to the general public to see.
It has gained worldwide celebrity status.
          Thanks for the link.

It is a "Rock" when it's on the ground.
It is a "Specimen" when picked up and taken home.
