hope you are well. thanks for the comments. i know exactly what you mean about the uncertainty of these finds.
like you said ` if its not an axe its arguable` but there is some real fun in trying to imagine what a piece really is.
i have no expertise at all. 3 months ago i didnt even know the word lithic!! i have stones all round the house ( a bit like in your photos on your post)
and everyday i pick at least one up and think `am i mad? is this just a rock? but i cant get away from the facts i`ve learned and that i am holding something
really wonderful. and having this site to get REAL info about it is FANTASTIC.
